How to Install Windows 7 without the CD key

My laptop recently crashed because of a software that I downloaded a month ago. I was running Windows 7 Ultimate, which I updated from Windows XP that I used in the past. What can I say? Everything runs so well on Windows 7.

Apparently, after my laptop's obscene crash, I looked for my Windows 7 CD Installer, but I know that I don't have its case anymore (where the cd key was written). And so, I run Windows 7 for like a week after I got a notification:

I have to key in the CD key information in 3 days!

I immediately googled for a CD key that I can use, apparently, those didn't work out right. I got another error message after I typed the wrong CD key.

And yes, I was panicking! I retyped another CD key I generated using a key generator software and I got another error message:

that time, I got at 0x error message
I stopped  for a while and solicited on Facebook who are Windows 7 users so I can use their CD keys.

I didn't get any good results.

Until I visited a website from my Technorati reviews and read until the mid-portion of the blog. Its label OS caught my attention. And I wasn't wrong.

The blogsite created by Martik Panosian helps me a lot in activating my Windows 7 without the CD key!

It worked well with different Windows OS, from Windows 7 Starter - Ultimate version, Windows Vista  Starter - Ultimate as well as Windows Server Foundation - Enterprise.

I don't have to reformat my computer just to have this work. I still run Windows 7 on my background while RemoveWAT 2.2 is running. What it does, it removes the error message asking for the CD key or any other errors that you will encounter while running your Windows version.

It worked for me and I'm sharing this to let you know there's a good website to look at if you need help technically in your Windows Operating System choice.

Deal with a..

I'm kinda like enjoying the projects I am getting these past few days and dealing with these people from Israel and Portugal are kind and cooperative. They elaborated the projects they asked me to write well and the result - a good relationship plus good content.

I wasn't writing any of those at this time. Oh well, I'm writing my personal blog now but later on today, I'll be working on some other contracts I currently have.

There was this notification I just had earlier before I wrote this. I was speaking to him yesterday and seemed like he used me before declining his offer. Well, I think I dealt with someone who's famous in Social Media although, I'd like to think that the company that I'm working with will give him so much authority - not just yet. Therefore, I could say that apart from having this personal blog which I only do on my spare time (I don't really care if I gain much traffic or not, and who cares?!), I can manipulate not only those people who aimed to be an "expert", but do something better than them.

Warning: Don't mess up with juicypeanut :P

Pork Ribs Adobo

fresh from the pan

On a budget? Living alone?

I'm thinking about cooking my specialty, especially during this rainy weather hits your place.

It's a usually adobo recipe for everyone but I noticed that even we share different adobo recipes, it stands out as one of the best Filipino food we serve in our dining table.

So let me share my own Adobo recipe that you can cook without spending more than P100.

Ingredients:
1/2 kilo of Chicken or Pork (preferably fatty or bony part) -- this time I used pork ribs
1/4 Chicken or pork liver (optional)
Garlic cloves, finely chopped
pepper to taste
vinegar
soy sauce
cooking oil

How to Make It:
1. Prepare a medium-sized skillet
2. Put cleaned pork or chicken, liver, chopped garlic, vinegar and soy sauce. The amount of vinegar and soy sauce depends on your taste.
3. Let it boil until the sauce becomes thick.
4. In a cup, get at least 10-15 teasepoons of adobo sauce and set aside.
5. In a low fire, add oil to the mixture and let the chicken/pork fry itself and becomes golden brown.
6. Add adobo sauce until it boils.

Serve hot.

Tip: The more garlic and pepper you put will make your adobo tastier.

Price Watch: 1/2 kilo of pork ribs - P70
                       1 garlic clove - P4
soy sauce in budget pack   - P13
                       vinegar  - P13

                       Total: P100

(I spent less than a hundred bucks since I only bought pork ribs and a garlic clove. Other ingredients can be found in your kitchen) =)

Happy cooking!

How about my time, Mom?

After my separation with my ex-husband four years ago, I chose to live alone, previously renting a condo unit and now, a small crib.

My mom took care of my daughter, Amber from the time of separation up until now.

My reason of not staying with my daughter? I am working for her needs.

And my personal reason is freedom so I can do what I want to do.

Every week, I stayed at my mom's place to supposedly spend some time with my daughter. Apparently, that didn't happen. Workaholic as I am, I spent almost all my time in front of my laptop, working - if not, playing in Facebook.

Amber is such a sweet baby. She just let me do what I want to do while writing, or drawing, or creating a card for me.I could even count the minutes I spent to talk with my daughter.

Time passed as I work quietly from home. I was knocked down by realization.

I am missing Amber so much.

I spent time to talk to her on the phone, chatted about kid stuff, what she did in school and what are her favorite subjects. I could sense the happiness in her voice.

I brought her to my place, spent one night bonding together, cooked for her. It almost broke my heart seeing my daughter contented on a simple fried hot dogs as our dinner. She said it was the most delicious meal she had in her life.

I was totally wrong. I became selfish. I haven't thought about my loving daughter who loves me despite the fact that I am away from her. It's not always having a relationship with someone.

It's not always the most expensive toys that matters.

It's not always the money that  I spend with her every week.

It's about the time I lost for almost four years, spending time with the most important person in my life.

I know that there are working moms sharing the same sentiments like I do. We will lose our job anytime. We can be replaced by others if we show our bosses we are not capable of doing something they will ask. Some people will be part of our lives, who would like to share romantic pieces of their history. They'll stay or leave us.

But always remember, there's one person in this world that no matter what we do, what mistakes we have been through, even when you are already incapable of doing something, someone will stay behind your back, hold your hands and will be your number one fan - for me, that's Amber.

Tired of Office jobs? Try this..

I used to ignore anything about working at home. I have read about it so many times but I don't think it will really work.

Not until last year.

October Fate

My younger sister and I have almost the same fate when it comes to relationship - failure. Should I say a failed relationship?

I was once married - technically per se' since I was committed with a married man. I was too young to know that if a man chooses not to live with her legal wife anymore, and his wife chooses to live with another guy, their marriage is null and void. They are still married unless there's a formal court decision.

I married this guy, knowing that her previous marriage will be automatically nulled and voided after 10 years of being physically separated. Our anniversary date was October 5. I left my husband October 8.

My sister was married October 5, too - just to be the same with their anniversary when they were still boyfriends. Her husband left her October 10.

I have no idea how fate brought us a failed October, but I am thinking positively.

It's really hard to cope up when it still hurts, when you cannot think of anything you did wrong but to quit working in the office, choose to stay at home raising your baby while your husband is working overseas.

It's very timely when I woke up with a text message that came from my friend, Mabsi:
"All relationship have one law: NEVER make one you love feel alone especially when you're there"
Very true. We often didn't care at all even if when our partners show their care, their sweetness and thoughtfulness. We think that we will never lose them in the first place. We show them angst, hatred and attitude.

They complain. You complain most of the time, too. But you never listen.

When they lose patience and called a breakup, that's when you run after them. It's childish if you will still act like boyfriends and girlfriends do when you're already married.

It's not an easy breakup to escape your married life. Your husband fails most of the time. Talk to him. You are giving him a hard time with your attitude. Make some adjustment. Compromise.

It's easy to lose someone if you fell out of love. You cannot mend a broken relationship for the sake of your kids.

I used to think about that too. I want a big happy family. I couldn't give that to Amber anymore. But I can make my daughter feel that her dad and her mom consider her as their most important person in the world.

It really broke my heart when I see my sister crying last night. I understand the feeling. I know it's not right to say, "Hey, move on!" because I know for a fact that she will encounter more sleepless nights, a cup, or even a pail of tears, but in time, that will make her a better person, like I do. She will realize soon, that a failed relationship is not at all "failed" relationship, thus it will make you a stronger person as long as you believe that fate is given when God said you can still handle it.

Cebu Pacific Air 10/10/10 Promo

This is really a must-grab promo!

My decision of waking up at 1AM is really a good one when the first thing that you see in Facebook is a notification that Cebu Pacific Air announces another promotion.

This system wide sale is limited for today's date ONLY, 10-10-2010. How cool, right?!

All Domestic Flights - P10
All International Flights - P1,010

Travel Period: January 1 - March 31, 2011.

And so the first thing I got is my wallet. Thank you debit card and credit card for your on-time confirmation!

As always, Cebu Pacific website is slow whenever they posted a sale, so patience must be handy whenever this happens.

Tip: Do not double-click or refresh the page while it's reading, you might lose your promo slot and others might just grab it. Be patient :)

My long wait is over until I got the total price details.

If there's something that I can suggest Cebu Pacific Management can change on their system, it's when they show the detailed total price. It's kind of chaotic if you'll see two price details on a different page when you assumed that the first one is the only thing that you need to pay.

Compare both price details. Taxes and Fees without the Web Admin Fee are different on both screenshots. Not to make everyone confused the next time, I think it's better if Cebu Pacific will post the 2nd screenshot alone.

Ok, I'll stop ranting as my excitement runs through my head when I got this most important thing in online flight booking.
It's confirmed! ;)

Better hurry and book your flight now!

Buffalo Wings Recipe

When I got the chance to go to the grocery, I grabbed 7 chicken wings and I thought of only one thing to cook - buffalo wings. If you're tired of the usual fried chicken recipes, then this one is a must-try, a perfect pulutan for a not-so-heavy drinker like me. ;)

What you need:

  • cooking oil for deep frying
  • 7 chicken wings, or you can add more depending on your preference
  • 4 tablespoons of butter
  • vinegar
  • 5 tablespoon of chilli sauce (tabasco preferred)
  • salt and pepper to taste

How to do it:

1. Heat the oil in a large pan. Deep fry chicken wings in oil until golden brown. Set aside and drain in paper towels.
2. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add vinegar and chilli sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. Add cooked chicken wings to sauce and stir over low heat to coat evenly. The longer the wings simmer, the hotter they will be.

Cooking Tip:
Add salt based on your taste. Butter adds saltiness to the flavor so make sure you put a pinch just to make it tasty.

Serve warm.

Price Watch:
A kilo of chicken costs P170. Other ingredients, you can grab it to your mom's kitchen for free ;)

Cebu Dancing FAs or Cebu Dancing Inmates

If Yahoo! News Philippines current headline says that PAL union, the Flight Attendants and Stewardess Association of the Philippines (FASAP), is interrogating their rival Cebu Pacific's gimmick of having their flight attendants grooving while explaining the pre-flight seatbelt and life vest procedures.

It looks like Cebu Pacific's popularity increases while over 6 million YouTube fanatics were entertained with this new flight experience plus tagging them as "sexist" literally means nothing to viewers.

Here's a video I got from YouTube and honestly, I can't wait to experience them -- er, watching these flight attendants entertaining and ensuring each passenger's safety at the same time.

This new travel experience will not only enticed travel enthusiasts thinking about their forthcoming destination, but, from the airport, thinking about these beautiful flight attendant's dance number marks every passenger's mind.

And Yahoo! Philippines News stated "sexist" on their headline but the fact that these girls dances while giving airline's safety measures is not at all unacceptable because these girls are still dancing with their clothes on.

What's affecting these news is the airline popularity and increasing number of passengers for their much-awaited experience.

To top it all, if these girls are dancing to Lady Gaga's infamous hit, everyone will never forget another group..the Cebu Dancing Inmates dancing Michael Jackson's hit.

Check out the video here:

Let's think about the positive impact it will bring to our country. It's always detractors who will mean success to these two groups. Girls are dancing in the plane while these inmates are dancing, where else, but in the prison ground.

I haven't seen the Cebu Dancing Inmates yet, but who knows, soon, I might be booking my flight with Cebu Pacific to check out these FA's perfomance and visit Cebu to see these inmates groove.

Hitting two birds with one stone ;)

A Filipino Volunteer Site

I am always amazed whenever websites / blogsites crossed my Technorati reviews. Most of them are rejected because of not following the guidelines, but some, from titles, blog claim details and contents passes without any corrections at all. I just viewed this blog site created by a Filipino named Hanz Ruiz.

Filipinovolunteer.com is a new website that was created August this year. Their main focus is to give yourself an option of joining different voluntary groups in the Philippines. I never joined any voluntary organizations in the past, but it's good to know that there are kind-hearted people doing a cause for anyone who need their extended hands.
